The Victorian High Country 4×4 Muster is one of them.
Gather your convoy and join The Fly Program for five unforgettable days exploring some of Australia’s most spectacular alpine landscapes.
Every Track Has a Story
Cross rivers, tackle legendary High Country tracks, camp beneath the stars and experience the incredible sense of community that only comes from travelling together.
This isn’t about having the newest four-wheel drive or the biggest lift kit.
It’s about using what you have, preparing it well, and sharing an adventure that creates memories while helping others experience the power of connection through The Fly Program.
The Victorian High Country is one of Australia’s most iconic four-wheel driving destinations.

Why We Muster
Every Victorian High Country 4×4 Muster entry helps fund scholarships for people who otherwise couldn’t afford to attend a Fly Program retreat.
Our goal is to raise over $100,000 through The Muster Series, supporting future Men In Flight and Father & Son participants.
By joining the 4×4 Muster, you’re not simply signing up for an incredible High Country adventure.
You’re helping someone else experience the life-changing power of connection, challenge and the outdoors.
Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome.
Whether you’re a past participant, family, volunteer, sponsor, experienced four-wheel driver or someone looking to experience the Victorian High Country for the first time, we’d love to have you join us.
4WD Ready
To take part you’ll need:
- A suitable four-wheel drive (or a seat in one)
- A well-maintained vehicle prepared for High Country conditions
- Mandatory recovery equipment
- Camping equipment and supplies
- A sense of adventure

Event Information
Dates: 12th – 16th April 2027
Start: Tom Groggin
Finish: Blue Rag Range, followed by lunch in Bright
Duration: Five Days | Five Nights
Accommodation: Self-supported camping throughout the journey.
Maximum Entries: 10 vehicles
The final itinerary may vary due to weather, river levels, seasonal track closures or advice from Parks Victoria.
The Journey
Arrival Evening
Arrive at Tom Groggin Campground, meet the convoy, settle into camp and enjoy the excitement as everyone prepares for the days ahead.
DAY ONE
Tom Groggin → Native Dog Flat
The adventure begins with the iconic Murray River crossing before climbing into Victoria’s spectacular alpine country.
Drivers can tackle the famous Mount Pinnibar Track or travel via the Alpine Way before regrouping at Native Dog Flat for the first campfire.
DAY TWO
Native Dog Flat → Nunniong Plains
Travel through remote snow gum forests, visit the historic Moscow Villa Hut and camp among the expansive landscapes of Nunniong Plains.
DAY THREE
Nunniong Plains → Omeo
Follow scenic mountain ridgelines before descending into the historic township of Omeo to refuel, restock and enjoy a well-earned pub meal and hot shower.
DAY FOUR
Omeo → Crooked River
Explore Victoria’s historic goldfields as the convoy winds through Talbotville and the Crooked River, crossing multiple rivers before setting up camp beside the water.
DAY FIVE
Crooked River → Blue Rag Range
Finish the adventure by climbing onto the famous Blue Rag Range Track.
Standing together at Blue Rag Trig Point, overlooking the Victorian Alps, provides the perfect way to celebrate an unforgettable five days together before finishing the journey with the traditional Bright bakery pie.
